Ever feel like you hate your body??
This exercise is perfect for when you’re feeling uncomfortable in your own skin or for when being in your body isn’t feeling fun.
Take 10 minutes and do this exercise and I promise you it will shift how you feel in your body.
Gratitude does not feel fun or natural at first. It can feel cringe worthy and truly just embarrassing🤦🏼♀️
But, ya GOTTA do it. You just gotta, period. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 It’s the fastest route to going from feeling like a failure or feeling crappy about your body to feeling better.
This exercise can take as little as 5-10 minutes and is TRANSFORMATIONAL. Do not underestimate the power of gratitude.
The key is, you actually have to DO it.
How to do a Gratitude Body Scan:
1️⃣ Starting with the head, take a moment to feel and notice this part of your body
2️⃣ Then write down “I am grateful for my head because X...”
3️⃣ Continue listing all the reasons why you are grateful for this part of your body
4️⃣ Repeat steps 1-3 on the rest of your body parts: eyes nose mouth ears neck chest arms hands belly hips booty legs feet
5️⃣ Spend time noticing, feeling and genuinely appreciating the function of each body part
Then notice, has your energy shifted? How do you feel now? Save this practice to come back to when you’re feeling down. Even better, do it for 7 days straight and watch what happens. I repeat, DO NOT underestimate its power. 🔥🔥🔥
